My Sports Coaching Programs

The basics behind my sports coaching is to start at the ground level and begin to build and understand different training strategies. Questions like "What is it I really want to do?", "When do I want to do it.", "How do I get there.", "How should I train, what should I train, when should I train?" All of these questions need to be answered in a logical order and monitored to ensure progress in the right direction. Also it is important to know when some training is bodering on too much and of course how much is too much? Many questions that affect the performance.

As we move through building this resource center there will be tools provided that can help answer all these questions and concerns regarding attaining the final result. It is important to remember the plan that we will build is personal and always evolving and, as life happens, the plan can change but you must not lose site of your dream.

In 1972 I dreamed of going to the Olympics, now at the age of 44 going as an athlete is unlikely. So adjust the plan and try getting to the Olympics as a coach, okay, now this could be a reality.

So what is your dream?

With all sports or past times the first most important thing you can do to start you on the road to success is locate a club or facility where you can practice your skills. For Archery in Canada you can find club listings through the National office, FCA

This is the American governing body for Archery, USA ARCHERY

once you have establish a facility that you can get to, contact the person in charge and find out their times of operation, and the availability of their coaches.
